Day 1: Welcome to Colombia!
Upon landing in Cali, you will check into your hotel and enjoy some late evening snacks – fresh Colombian fruit and warm, homemade bread. You will be tired from a full day of travel!
Day 2: Colegio Americona
After a traditional breakfast, you will travel to Colegio Americano where you will spend the day volunteering as an English teacher. Your evening will be spent shopping at a local mall and exchanging money in preparation for the week
Day 3: Volunteer & Salsa Lessons
Volunteer at Colegio Americano after a traditional breakfast. You will enjoy salsa lessons in the evening followed by a traditional dinner.
Day 4: Volunteer & Chiva Tour
Volunteer at Colegio Americano until 3 PM. Then, along with your new Colombian friends, you will take a chiva tour of the city. There’s nothing quite like exploring Cali in a school bus turned discotech! After dancing your way through the city, you’ll settle in for a nice meal downtown.
Day 5: Volunteer, Hike, and Explore San Antonio
Volunteer at Colegio Americano then take a hike to Cristo Rey. After your hike, you will explore the oldest and most historic part of Cali, San Antonio. Before your rooftop dinner, you’ll shop at one of Colombia’s finest artisan markets.
Day 6: Market and Salsa Dancing
Last day at Colegio Americano. After school, you will visit the local market for a taste of lulo then out for salsa dancing!!!
Day 7: Farewell Colombia!
After an early breakfast, you’ll pack up and begin your journey back home.
