At GCAC, the safety and well-being of our travelers is our top priority. All program destinations are thoroughly vetted, and we continuously monitor local conditions to stay ahead of any potential concerns. Our experienced program leaders are CPR and First-Aid certified, and they receive comprehensive training in emergency response and crisis management. Families can feel confident knowing we’re prepared, attentive, and always focused on creating a safe and enriching experience for every participant.

Traveling with GCAC is a great way to start traveling! We’ll guide you every step of the way. Before the program begins, we’ll share helpful info about the destination, local culture, and what to expect so you feel prepared and excited. And once you're on the trip, our friendly Program Leaders are there for you 24/7—you’ll always have support and never be on your own.

You may begin the program solo, but by the end you’ll return home with new ideas and lifelong friendships!

All food destinations have varying options and fit a variety of dietary needs. Much of the cuisine is very similar to what you experience at home!

While our programs are jam-packed with activities, we make sure to arrange for time for you to explore and truly soak in our destination.

GCAC programs include a range of activity levels—from very easy to moderately active—so there’s something for everyone. We’re committed to creating inclusive experiences for all travelers, regardless of physical ability or fitness level. That said, some destinations may have terrain or infrastructure that can make access more challenging. Our goal is to be as clear and transparent as possible about what each program involves, so you can choose the adventure that’s right for you and feel confident every step of the way. At GCAC, our mission is rooted in helping young people get out of their zip codes! Community members play an important role in that mission. A portion of your program cost directly supports need-based scholarships for students who might not otherwise have the chance to participate. By joining a GCAC program, community members are not only embarking on an unforgettable experience—they’re also helping to build a more equitable and inclusive global community.
